When Boobs Go Rogue…

Hi! I’m Caroline. I was 30 when I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

I’ve always been curious about the world, about how we live, heal, and grow—even in the hardest moments. Writing has become my way to make sense of everything: the treatments, the emotions, the unexpected discoveries about life and myself. Here, I share my journey with honesty, humor, and a touch of curiosity, hoping it can resonate with anyone navigating their own challenges or simply looking to see the world through someone else’s eyes.

This space is for stories, reflections, and moments of insight—big and small. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of something overwhelming, there’s room to explore, to feel, and to connect.

The Rogue Boob Blog

Welcome to my blog—a place where I share updates from my cancer journey, the small victories, the messy moments, and everything in between. I try to sprinkle in humor wherever I can, because if you don’t laugh at the absurdity sometimes, you might cry…a lot. These posts are honest, raw, and sometimes silly, but always true to what I’m experiencing. Think of it as my way of processing, connecting, and maybe helping someone else feel a little less alone along the way. Follow along my journey!

A diagnosis that turned my world upside down, challenging everything I thought I knew about my body, my future, and myself. I shared my journey so far with Susan G. Komen through their blog and podcast, reflecting on the fears, lessons, and surprising insights that have emerged along the way.

“Real Pink” Podcast Appearance

Episode No. 372

“[This] conversation is a deeply personal look at what it means to be diagnosed with breast cancer at just 30 years old. We often hear the statistics that more young women are being diagnosed, but numbers can't capture the shock of finding a lump before you think you're even old enough to worry... or the life-altering shift that happens when you are put into medically induced menopause. Caroline McNally knows the struggles of being in the thick of treatment and the isolation of being diagnosed younger than most. But she also knows about strength, hope and learning how to advocate for herself and others.”
